Children are expert learners. Nowhere is this more apparent than in learning a musical instrument!

It’s widely acknowledged that learning an instrument such as the piano, can enhance skills in a number of other fields. Music however has its own reasons and provides us all with a source of joy, wonder and intimacy in a world that sometimes pays lip service to these essential human characteristics. Music, and especially learning how to play an instrument, ’rounds-out’ all our lives making it hugely more fulfilling.

If your child is currently learning another instrument or enjoys singing and listening to any sort of music, playing the piano, in particular, can provide a wonderful foundation to all these activities.
